Ein neues Buch von Peter Doherty und Frédéric Lo mit dem Titel “The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime” wird am 18. März veröffentlicht
Peter Doherty and Frédéric Lo have announced the release of their new album, ‘The Fantasy Life of Poetry & Crime,’ which will be released on Friday, March 18th, through Strap Originals.
Another intriguing left turn by one of our most prolific artists, Peter Doherty, who once again defies those critics who have written him off and produces his strongest work to date in ‘The Fantasy Life of Poetry and Crime.’ The combination of Peter’s exquisite poetry and Frederick’s delectable francophone musical arrangements is a match made in heaven.
‘The Fantasy Life of Poetry & Crime’ was written during the lockdown and produced by Frédéric Lo. It was recorded at Cateuil in Étretat (Normandy) and Studio Water Music in Paris, and mixed by François Delabrière at Studio Moderne in Paris, during the lockdown. Peter Doherty wrote all of the lyrics, and Frédéric Lo composed all of the music.
The French musician, musical director, composer, arranger, music producer, and singer-songwriter Frédéric Lo is also known as Frédéric Lo. Lo, who currently resides in Paris, is best known for his work as a duet partner with Daniel Darc, as well as his collaborations with Pony Pony Run Run, Stephan Eicher, Maxime Le Forestier, Christophe Honoré, and Alex Beaupain, among others.
In addition to three albums with The Libertines (‘Up The Bracket,’ (2004), and “Anthems For Doomed Youth,” (2015), and three albums with Babyshambles (‘Down In Albion, (2005), “Shotters Nation, (2007), and “Sequel To The Prequel,” (2013)), two solo albums (‘Grace/Wastelands,’ (2009) and “Hamburg Demonstrations,’ (2017), and Peter Doherty (2019).
